Current Business Employees definition

Current Business Employees has the meaning specified in Section 5.17(a).
Current Business Employees who are not Transferred Employees, whether or not offered employment by Buyer, are herein referred to as "Retained Employees." Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Section 11.1, nothing herein shall restrict Buyer from terminating the employment, for any reason, of any Transferred Employee following the Closing Date.
Current Business Employees means all individuals employed by any of the Motion Companies as of April 6, 2015 as set forth on Section 4.12(a) of the Motion Companies Disclosure Schedules (which Schedule shall be updated by Motion five (5) Business Days prior to the Closing), including in each case all such individuals on leave of absence, furlough, maternity or paternity leave, vacation, sick leave, short term disability, military leave, jury duty or bereavement leave.

  • For Current Business Employees that do not become Acquired Employees or that choose to receive a payment of such benefits under applicable Law, APD shall retain all such obligations or pay them, as the case may be.

More Definitions of Current Business Employees

Current Business Employees means the Non-US Employees and US Employees, collectively, who are, immediately prior to the Closing, employed by the Company or any of its Subsidiaries.

  • Transferred Business has the meaning ascribed to such term in the Separation Agreement.

  • Relevant Employees means the employees of the Contractor (including the Transferring Employees) who are wholly or mainly assigned to work in the provision of the Services and who are/will be the subject of a Relevant Transfer by virtue of the application of the TUPE Regulations.
