Cultural Establishment definition

Cultural Establishment means a development which is available to the public for the purpose of assembly, instruction, cultural or community activity and include such things as a library, a museum, an art gallery, and similar activities. Religious institutions are not included in this category;

(For example: A factory, mill, store, hotel, restaurant, movie theatre, farm, ranch, bank, sales office, warehouse, central administrative office or governmental agency or subdivision thereof.) In all cases, such notice or notices shall be posted in accordance with the requirements of subrule 3.1(1).

  • Cultural facility means any publicly owned or operated museum, theater, art center, music hall, or other cultural or arts facility.

  • Cultural resources means archaeological and historic sites and artifacts, and traditional religious, ceremonial and social uses and activities of affected Indian tribes.
