Criminal justice information means information that is
Criminal justice information or “CJI” means all Criminal Justice Information System data. The term includes criminal history record information; biographic data; biometric data; identity history; person, organization, property, or Division of Motor Vehicles data; case or incident history; and other data necessary for authorized agencies to make hiring decisions, perform their mission, and enforce the laws of this State.
Criminal justice information means information that is collected by criminal justice agencies and that is needed for the performance of their legally authorized and required functions, such as criminal history record information, citation information, stolen property information, traffic accident reports, wanted persons information and system network log searches. Criminal justice information does not include the administrative records of a criminal justice agency.

  • Criminal justice information systems (including automated fingerprint identification systems) to assist law enforcement, prosecution, courts, and corrections organizations.

  • Criminal justice information, to include criminal history records, may only be released to authorized criminal justice agencies and some non-criminal justice agencies for specific and limited purposes as defined in law and in the user agreement with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE).

Criminal justice information. (CJI) means all of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) provided data necessary for law enforcement and civil agencies to perform their missions including but not limited to biometric, identity history, biographic, property, and case/incident history data. CJI also includes data stored in the Oregon Law Enforcement Data System (LEDS), the National Criminal Information Center (NCIC), and other criminal justice information systems files. Criminal justice information means information collected by criminal justice agencies that is needed for their legally authorized and required functions. This includes Criminal History Record Information and investigative and intelligence information. It does not include agency personnel or administrative records used for agency operations or management.
Criminal justice information or “CJI” means the results of any state or federal criminal records check of an employee, contractor or volunteer, any applicant or prospective employee, contractor or volunteer, and all copies thereof.
Criminal justice information or “criminal justice records” means any information, whether recorded or not, relating to an individual’s involvement with the criminal justice system, including confidential records and files maintained by clerks of the court, law enforcement agencies, court probation departments, and the Michigan Department of Corrections.

Criminal justice information means information on individuals collected or disseminated as a result of arrest, detention, or the initiation of a criminal proceeding by criminal justice agencies, including arrest record information, correctional and release information, criminal history record information, conviction record information, offender registration information, identification record information, and wanted persons record information. The term does not include statistical or analytical records or reports in which individuals are not identified and from which their identities are not ascertainable. The term does not include criminal intelligence information or criminal investigative information.
