Covered Physician definition

Covered Physician means any obstetrician or gynecologist whose principal offices are located in the Territory (and including those nurse practitioners and physician assistants who work with such physicians in those offices) ) and to those primary care physicians whose primary practices are in the field of OB/GYN medical care and who are designated as an OB/GYN on BMS' internal tracking databases.
Covered Physician means any dermatologist in the Territory (as defined below).
Covered Physician means any of the family practitioners/general practitioners listed on Exhibit A hereto.

A specialist physician may provide specialized treatment for the compensable injury or illness and give advice or an opinion regarding the treatment being rendered, or considered, for a patient’s compensable injury.

  • Consulting physician means a physician who is qualified by specialty or experience to make a professional diagnosis and prognosis regarding the patient's disease.

  • Resident physician means a physician enrolled in an internship, residency or fellowship.

  • Medical physicist means a person trained in evaluating the performance of mammography equipment and facility quality assurance programs and who meets the qualifications for a medical physicist set forth in 41.6(3)“c.”
