Only Court staff and legal representatives essential to the hearing of the matter should attend the courtroom.
Excluded from each defined Class is Defendant and any of its members, affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, successors, or assigns; governmental entities; and the Court staff assigned to this case and their immediate family members.
Failure of the moving party or attorney to be present at the calendar call, or to have informed the Court staff of his/her presence in another department, may result in the matter being removed from the calendar and, if the responding party has appeared, attorney's fees and costs may be awarded to the appearing party.
If a case is settled after calendar call but before the hearing, one of the attorneys shall inform the Judge or Court staff of that fact, whereupon the stipulation will be taken ahead of all contested matters.
