Council Land definition

Council Land means Council owned or vested land, excluding where Council is the Committee of Management of Crown land.
Council Land means any land owned by, vested in or under the management or control of the Council, including reserves, footways watercourses, reservations and the like, but excludes a road;
Council Land means land either owned by or leased to the Council. If the Council lease the land then TDC will approach the landowner for permission for the event. If the land is owned by TDC and leased then we ask for it to go through the ESAG process as the tenant will be using the land for a different purpose.

Council Land means all land owned, leased, managed or occupied by Council or for which it has a duty to maintain including without limitation Roads, easements, Buildings, structures, fixtures and lighting;
