Cost of Extra Work definition

Cost of Extra Work means the wages actually paid to and received by such employees; however, for a Directive Letter, all wages actually paid that are in excess of the prevailing wages in the performance of Extra Work shall be subject, on each occasion, to the initial and continuing approval of the Authority in advance of the performance of such Extra Work; plus a proper proportion of(a) premiums, if any, actually paid by the employer for Workers' Compensation Insurance upon the basis of such wages, (b) vacation allowances and union duesand assessments, which the employer actually pays pursuant to the contractual obligation upon the basis of such wages, and (c) taxes actually paid by the employer pursuant to law upon the basis of such wages. “Employees” as used above means only the employees of one employer.
Cost of Extra Work as used in this Article shall mean actual costs incurred by the Design Build Entity and each Subcontractor regardless of tier involved, and shall be limited to the following (to the extent the Design Build Entity demonstrates that they were actually incurred):

Related to Cost of Extra Work

  • Cost of work , in table above, shall mean the agreement amount of the work.

  • Extra Work means any work which is determined by City to be necessary for the proper completion of the Project, but which the Parties did not reasonably anticipate would be necessary at the execution of this Agreement. Consultant shall not perform, nor be compensated for, Extra Work without written authorization from City’s Representative.

  • Cost of the Work means those costs described in Paragraph 11.2.

  • Cost of Services is FASC’s total Operating Costs incurred in providing the applicable Category of Services during the month to all investment advisers for which FASC provides that Category of Services. “Adviser’s Assets under Management” is the total average assets under management for the month for all Accounts or portions thereof for which the Adviser acts as investment adviser or subadvisor and which utilize the Category of Services.

  • Total Contract Price/Project Cost/TCO means the price payable to Service Provider over the entire period of Contract for the full and proper performance of its contractual obligations.

  • Contractor’s Equipment means all apparatus, machinery, vehicles and other things required for the execution and completion of the Works and the remedying of any defects. This definition shall govern without regard to whether or not the construction contractor is acting in fulfillment of a contract.

  • Contract Work means everything required to be furnished and done by the Contractor by any one or more of the parts of the Contract referred to in Article 1, except Extra Work as hereinafter defined.

  • Eligible Project Costs means such portion of the Project costs disbursed and loaned from the OPWC to the Recipient for the sole and express purpose of acquiring, constructing, reconstructing, expanding, improving, engineering and equipping the Project, other direct expenses, and related financing costs thereto.

  • Cost of materials means the cost of components, parts or materials which are intended for the production, manufacturing or assembling of the goods bid for and which are not produced, manufactured or assembled in the factory where the production, manufacture or assembly of such goods occurs, including freight, landing costs, port charges, import duties and other import costs of such components, parts or materials and all costs in connection with the handling and transport thereof prior to delivery at that factory;

  • The Work means each and every activity required for the successful performance of the services described in Section II, the Terms of Reference.

  • Total Contract Price/Project Cost/TCO means the price payable to Service Provider over the entire period of Contract for the full and proper performance of its contractual obligations.

  • Building Contractor means the building contractor or developer appointed or to be appointed by the Grant Recipient in respect of a Firm Scheme; Business Day means any day other than a Saturday, Sunday or a statutory Bank Holiday in England;

  • O&M Contractor means the person, if any, with whom the Concessionaire has entered into an O&M Contract for discharging O&M obligations for and on behalf of the Concessionaire;

  • MSAA Indicator Technical Specifications document means, as the context requires, either or both of the document entitled “Multi-Sector Service Accountability Agreement (MSAA) 2019-20 Indicator Technical Specifications November 5, 2018 Version 1.3” and the document entitled “Multi-Sector Service Accountability Agreement (MSAA) 2019-20 Target and Corridor-Setting Guidelines” as they may be amended or replaced from time to time;

  • EPC Contractor means Seller’s engineering, procurement and construction contractor or such Person performing those functions.
