Cosmetic Treatment definition

Cosmetic Treatment means a procedure which is not Dentally Necessary and which is undertaken primarily, in the opinion of the Company, to improve or otherwise modify the Covered Person's appearance.
Cosmetic Treatment means Treatment that is concerned with altering the appearance of a body part or tissue which lies within the bounds of normal variation. Examples of Cosmetic Treatment include Rhinoplasty (nose reconstruction) without previous trauma or congenital defect, breast enlargement, and liposuction.
Cosmetic Treatment means any surgery, procedure or treatment that improves, alters or enhances appearance, whether or not undertaken for medical, physical, functional, psychological or emotional reasons.

Cosmetic Treatment means treatments, procedures, or services, including surgery, that change or improve appearance without significantly improving physiological function and without regard to any asserted improvement to the psychological consequences or socially avoidant behavior resulting from an injury, illness, or congenital anomaly.
