Core space definition
Core space means those spaces in a school facility that:
Core space means the essential spaces that support the operation of the whole facility. Primary spaces include intake area, inmate property storage, kitchen, laundry, central intake visiting and public visiting, vehicular sallyport, main mechanical equipment and mechanical equipment room, etc. For new facilities if future expansion is anticipated, it is recommended that primary core spaces be increased by 50% to accommodate future expansion.
