Contributed Entity Systems definition

Contributed Entity Systems means the (i) liquids pipelines, lateral lines, pumps, pump stations, storage facilities, terminals and other related assets and (ii) wind farms, wind turbines, meteorological towers, transmission lines and other related assets, in each case that are owned directly or indirectly by the Contributed Entities, but excludes the Excluded Assets.

  • Operating Company means an “operating company” within the meaning of 29 C.F.R. §2510.3-101(c) of the Plan Asset Regulations.

  • Business Entity/Vendor means any natural or legal person, business corporation, professional services corporation, limited liability company, partnership, limited partnership, business trust, association or any other legal commercial entity organized under the laws of New Jersey or any other state or foreign jurisdiction. The definition also includes (i) if a business entity is a for-profit corporation, any officer of the corporation and any other person or business entity that owns or controls 10% or more of the stock of the corporation; (ii) if a business entity is a professional corporation, any shareholder or officer; (iii) if a business entity is a general partnership, limited partnership or limited liability partnership, any partner; (iv) if a business entity is a sole proprietorship, the proprietor; (v) if the business entity is any other form of entity organized under the laws of New Jersey or any other state or foreign jurisdiction, any principal, officer or partner thereof; (vi) any subsidiaries directly or indirectly controlled by the business entity; (vii) any political organization organized under 26 U.S.C.A. § 527 that is directly or indirectly controlled by the business entity, other than a candidate committee, election fund, or political party committee; and (viii) with respect to an individual who is included within the definition of “business entity,” that individual's civil union partner and any child residing with that person. 1

  • Contributed Assets shall have the meaning as set forth in Section 2.2.

  • Generating Company means any company or body corporate or association or body of individuals, whether incorporated or not, or artificial juridical person, which owns or operates or maintains a generating station;

Solely for purposes of the limitations of Part 2 of this Article III, the Advisory Committee will treat employee contributions made to a defined benefit plan maintained by the Employer as a separate defined contribution plan. The Advisory Committee also will treat as a defined contribution plan an individual medical account (as defined in Code Section 415(l)(2)) included as part of a defined benefit plan maintained by the Employer and, for taxable years ending after December 31, 1985, a welfare benefit fund under Code Section 419(e) maintained by the Employer to the extent there are post-retirement medical benefits allocated to the separate account of a key employee (as defined in Code Section 419A(d)(3)).

  • Operating Subsidiaries means, collectively, the Corporation and HST, each a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Trust, and "Operating Subsidiary" means either of the Corporation or HST, as applicable.

  • Insurance holding company system means a group of two or more affiliated persons, at least one of whom is an insurer.

  • Project Company means Company incorporated by the bidder as per Indian Laws in accordance with Clause no 3.5.

  • Partnership Property means any property, real, personal or mixed, or any interest therein or appurtenant thereto which may be owned or acquired by the Partnership.

  • Operating Companies means, collectively, the Creekside Operating Company, the Mentone Operating Company and the Yucaipa Operating Company. “Operating Company” means any of the Operating Companies.

  • Partnership Subsidiary means Host LP and any partnership, limited liability company, or other entity treated as a partnership for federal income tax purposes or disregarded as a separate entity for federal income tax purposes in which either Host REIT or Host LP owns (or owned on or after January 1, 1999) an interest, either directly or through one or more other partnerships, limited liability companies or other entities treated as a partnership for federal income tax purposes or disregarded as a separate entity for federal income tax purposes (whether or not Host REIT or Host LP has a controlling interest in, or otherwise has the ability to control or direct the operation of, such entity).   • Project Companies means all Group Project Companies and Non-Group Project Companies together, each being a “Project Company”.

  • Real Estate Business means homebuilding, housing construction, real estate development or construction and the sale of homes and related real estate activities, including the provision of mortgage financing or title insurance.

  • ECC means the amount calculated by Contractor for the total cost of all elements of the Work based on this Agreement available at the time(s) that the ECC is prepared. The ECC shall not include Contractor’s Pre-Construction Phase Fee, A/E’s Fees, the cost of the land and rights-of-way, or any other costs that are the direct responsibility of Owner.

  • Company IT Assets means all Software, systems, serves, computers, hardware, firmware, middleware, networks, data communications lines, routers, hubs, switches and all other information technology equipment, and all associated documentation owned by or licensed, pursuant to a valid and enforceable license agreements, to the Company and its Subsidiaries.

  • Campus means any place where the college conducts or sponsors educational, public service, or research activities.
