Continuous bleed definition

Continuous bleed means the continuous venting of natural gas from a gas powered pneumatic device to the atmosphere. Continuous bleed pneumatic devices must vent continuously in order to operate.
Continuous bleed means a continuous flow of pneumatic supply natural gas to the process measurementcontrol device (e.g. level control, temperature control, pressure control) where the supply gas pressure is modulated by the process condition, and then flows to the valve controller where the signal is compared with the process set-point to adjust gas pressure in the valve actuator.
Continuous bleed means the continuous venting of natural gas from a gas actuated pneumatic device to the atmosphere by design.
