Consolidated Capital definition

Consolidated Capital means the sum of (i) Consolidated Debt of the Borrower and (ii) the consolidated equity of all classes of stock (whether common, preferred, mandatorily convertible preferred or preference) of the Borrower, in each case determined in accordance with GAAP, but including Equity-Preferred Securities issued by the Borrower and its Consolidated Subsidiaries and excluding the funded pension and other postretirement benefit plans, net of tax, components of accumulated other comprehensive income (loss).
Consolidated Capital means the sum (without duplication) of (i) Consolidated Debt of the Borrower (without giving effect to the proviso in the definition of Consolidated Debt) and (ii) consolidated equity of all classes (whether common, preferred, mandatorily convertible preferred or preference) of the Borrower.
Consolidated Capital at any time, the sum of, without duplication, (i) Consolidated Total Indebtedness plus (ii) the amount set forth opposite the captions “shareholders’ equity” and “preferred stock” (or similar captions) on a consolidated balance sheet of the Borrower prepared in accordance with GAAP plus (iii) the outstanding principal amount of any junior subordinated deferrable interest debentures or similar securities issued by the Borrower or any of its Subsidiaries.
