Consignee-agent definition

Consignee-agent means a firm which distributes covered products to purchasers pursuant to a contractual arrangement with a refiner under which the refiner retains title to the covered product and specified the prices to be paid by the purchaser and under Which the refiner pays the consignee-agent acommission based on the volume of covered products distributed by the consignee-agent.   • Consignee means the user department of Institute to whom the goods are required to be delivered as specified in the contract. If the goods are required to be delivered to a person as an interim consignee for the purpose of despatch to another person as provided in the Contract then that “another” person is the consignee, also known as Ultimate Consignee.
