Confidant definition

Confidant means the Person named as such above.
Confidant means a medical practitioner, a pharmacist, a pharmacologist, a psychologist, a psychiatrist, a full‑time staff member of a college or university counseling bureau, a guidance counselor or a teacher in an elementary school or in a junior or senior high school, a full‑time staff member of a hospital, a duly ordained and licensed member of the clergy, accredited Christian Science practitioner, or any professional or paraprofessional staff member of a drug treatment, education, rehabilitation, or referral center who has received a communication from a holder of the privilege.
Confidant has the meaning given to it in Section 5.5(i).

Examples of Confidant in a sentence

  • The obligations of Confidant under this Agreement shall not terminate but shall continue without limitation of time.

  • Confidant acknowledges and agrees that all rights in and to Confidential Information are and shall remain the sole property of City, and Confidant agrees that it shall not contest or challenge any of City’s rights in or to any Confidential Information.

  • Confidant acknowledges and agrees that a breach of any term or condition of this Agreement shall cause irreparable harm to City which cannot be adequately compensated for in damages, and accordingly Confidant agrees that City shall be entitled, in addition to any other remedies available to it, to interlocutory and permanent injunction relief to restrain any anticipated, present or continuing breach of this Agreement.

  • This Agreement shall not create, nor shall it be deemed to create, the relationship of employer and employee, principal and agent, partnership, or joint venture, between City and Confidant.

  • Confidant acknowledges and agrees that City reserves the full independent right to modify the scope and content of Confidential Information available for access and/or use hereunder at any time and without prior notice.


More Definitions of Confidant

Confidant means an individual with whom the Director is connected by frequent or close association and who provides counsel to, or otherwise helps the Director, or who the Director would counsel or help.
Confidant means the party to whom the Confidential Information is provided by the Discloser and includes that party’s Personnel to whom Confidential Information is provided by the party or by the Discloser.
Confidant has the meaning given in Section 51.6(a)(i) of the Project Agreement.
Confidant means the person listed in paragraph 14 (Project Personnel) of the Request and also specified below as the “Confidant” in this Deed (refer to signing clause section).
Confidant s Representative” means the person specified at Item 3 of the Schedule;
