Conceptus definition

Conceptus means any product of conception at any stage of development from fertilization until birth including extra embryonic membranes as well as the embryo or foetus;
Conceptus means the product of any termination of pregnancy, regardless of its duration, including a hydatidiform mole, fetal tissue or other evidence of pregnancy recovered by operative or other procedure, but not including a live birth as defined in § 201.01(a).
