Compounded sterile preparation or "CSP" means a sterile pharmaceutical that has been prepared by a pharmacist, or under the supervision of a pharmacist. It shall be a preparation prepared for or in anticipation of a specific patient prescription or medication order issued by a prescribing practitioner.
