Compliance Showings definition

Compliance Showings means the RAR compliance or advisory showings (or similar or successor showings), that an LSE is required to make to the CPUC (and, to the extent authorized by the CPUC, to the CAISO) pursuant to the CPUC Decisions, to the CAISO pursuant to the CAISO Tariff, or to any Governmental Body having jurisdiction.

Compliance Showings means the applicable LSE’s compliance with the resource adequacy requirements of the CPUC for an applicable Showing Month.

Compliance Showings means the total combination of (a) through (d) below that a Load Serving Entity (as defined in the CAISO Tariff) is required to make to the CPUC pursuant to the CPUC Decisions, or to any Governmental Authority having jurisdiction: (a) Local RAR compliance or advisory showings (or similar or successor showings), (b) RAR compliance or advisory showings (or similar or successor showings), (c) Flexible RAR compliance or advisory showings (or similar or successor showings), and (d) other Capacity Attributes compliance or advisory showings (or similar or successor showings).

Examples of Compliance Showings in a sentence

• Seller shall, or cause each Unit’s SC to, submit to Buyer, a schedule of proposed Planned Outages for the Unit Contract Quantity, if any, that will occur during the Delivery Period, (“Planned Outage Schedule”), on each of the following dates during the Contract Term (i) the Confirmation Effective Date, (ii) thirty (30) days before the applicable year-ahead Compliance Showings, and (iii) no later than January 1, April 1, July 1 and October 1 of each calendar year.

• The Re-sale Plan shall be provided no later than three (3) Business Days before the deadline for the Compliance Showings applicable to the relevant Showing Month, except where Buyer exercises its rights under Article 7, then Buyer shall notify Seller in accordance with deadlines described in Article 7.

• Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Confirmation, failure to properly provide Replacement Capacity, including Seller’s obligation to identify Replacement Units no later than fifteen (15) Business Days before the relevant deadline for Buyer's Compliance Showings, may result in the calculation of damages payable to Buyer under Section 5.2 and/or the indemnification of Buyer against any penalties, fines or costs under Section 5.3.

• For illustrative purposes only, pursuant to the CPUC Decisions and CAISO Tariff in effect as of the Execution Date, the monthly Compliance Showings made in June are for the Showing Month of August and the annual Compliance Showing made in October is for the twelve (12) Showing Months of the following year.

• Seller shall notify, no later than fifteen (15) Business Days before the relevant deadlines for the corresponding Compliance Showings applicable to that Showing Month, of the amount of Product (in MWs) from the Storage Units that Buyer is permitted to include in Buyer’s Compliance Showings applicable to that month as a result of such Planned Outage.
