Complaint or Allegation definition

Complaint or Allegation means, for the purposes of this document, a complaint or allegation is considered to be any issue raised regarding the conduct of an employee of a Catholic systemic school in the Diocese of Lismore in relation to children or young people, where such conduct is considered to be of a nature which may constitute reportable conduct in accordance with the Ombudsman Act 1974 (NSW).

  • No Person shall make or file a vexatious Complaint or Allegation and to do so is a breach of the Code.

  • A person making a Complaint or Allegation under this Part may request to remain anonymous and every effort shall be made to respect that request however, depending on the nature of the Complaint or Allegation anonymity cannot be guaranteed.

  • The City is committed to the facilitation and disclosure of serious and significant matters in or relating to the City or any Person that are potentially unlawful or injurious to the public interest and, as such, shall fully protect persons who make a Complaint or Allegation.

  • Detailed information and statistics are outlined in Section 5 and Appendix A.

  • Notification of Resolution of a Complaint or Allegation ICE OPR will coordinate with the LEA's Internal Investigations Unit to ensure notification as appropriate to the JIC, the subject(s) of a complaint, and the person filing the complaint regarding the resolution of the complaint.

  • Where the Investigating Panel issues a Letter of Advice it shall not refer the Complaint or Allegation to the Professional Conduct and Competence Panel.

Related to Complaint or Allegation

  • Allegation means any written or oral statement or other indication of possible scholarly misconduct made to an institutional official.

  • Complaint means any formal written complaint raised by a Contracting Body in relation to the performance of this Framework Agreement or any Call-Off Contract in accordance with Clause 44 (Complaints Handling and Resolution);

  • third party proceeding means any threatened, pending or completed action, suit or proceeding, whether civil, criminal, administrative, or investigative, other than an action by or in the right of the corporation.

  • Complaint Investigation means an investigation of any complaint that has been made to a proper authority that is not covered by an abuse investigation.

  • A grievance means a dispute or disagreement as to the interpretation or application of terms and conditions of employment contained in this Agreement.

  • Lawsuit means any lawsuit, arbitration or other dispute resolution filed by either party herein pertaining to any of this Warrant, the Facility Agreement and the Registration Rights Agreement.

  • Complaints means each of the following documents:

  • legal or administrative action means any legal proceeding or arbitration and any administrative or regulatory action or investigation;

  • Violent felony means any offense that, if committed by an adult, would constitute a felony and:

  • Legal Action means and includes any claim, counterclaim, demand, action, suit, counterclaim, arbitration, inquiry, proceeding or investigation before any

  • Licensed person means an individual who is licensed or otherwise legally authorized to practice a professional service by a court, department, board, commission, or an agency of this state or another jurisdiction, any corporation or professional services corporation all of whose shareholders are licensed persons, any partnership all of whose partners are licensed persons, or any limited liability company all of whose members and managers are licensed persons.

  • Infringement Action has the meaning set forth in Section 9.6(b).

  • Claim means any action, claim, obligation, liability, expense, lawsuit, demand, suit, inquiry, hearing, investigation, notice of a violation, litigation, proceeding, arbitration, or other dispute, whether civil, criminal, administrative or otherwise, whether pursuant to contractual obligations or otherwise.

  • Group Grievance is defined as a single grievance, signed by a Xxxxxxx or a Union Representative on behalf of a group of employee who have the same complaint. Such grievances must be dealt with at successive stages of the Grievance Procedure commencing with Step 1. The grievors shall be listed on the grievance form.

  • Accused means a person accused of a violation who has not yet entered an Institution’s judicial or conduct process.

  • Criminal proceeding means a proceeding instituted by means of the swearing of an information, the laying of a charge or the return of an indictment, before a Court of competent jurisdiction in Canada with jurisdiction to hear and determine the charges referred to therein, alleging or charging that the "Insured" has contravened the provisions of any Provincial or Federal statute, including the Criminal Code, R.S.C. 1985 ch. C-46 as amended, which creates an offence or crime and which provides for conviction thereunder, whether by way of summary conviction or indictment, and as a result of which the "Insured" is liable to be convicted, fined or sentenced to some form of imprisonment or other punishment.

  • Grievance means a dispute arising out of the interpretation, application, administration or alleged violation of the terms of this Agreement.

  • Infringement has the meaning set forth in Section 6.3(a).

  • Violent juvenile felony means any of the delinquent acts enumerated in subsection B or C of

  • Policy Grievance shall be signed by a xxxxxxx or a Union representative or, in the case of an Employer's policy grievance, by the Employer or its representative.

  • Unlicensed person means any person who is not a licensed dealer under this chapter.

  • Offense means a felony, gross misdemeanor, or crime of moral turpitude.

  • Complainant means an individual who is alleged to be the victim of conduct that could constitute sexual harassment.

  • Third Party Infringement has the meaning set forth in Section 5.1.

  • Crime means a misdemeanor or a felony.

  • Disciplinary proceeding means an adjudicative proceeding permitted under this
