Compensable definition

Compensable means a determination by a carrier or judge of compensation claims that a condition suffered by an employee results from an injury arising out of and in the course of employment. s. 440.13(1)(d), F.S.
Compensable. (approved by the Bureau of Worker’s Compensation) shall mean hospital and medical expenses approved for the payment by the Bureau of Worker’s Compensation which shall indicate “job relatedness” is established. The words “final decision” shall mean that the employee has exhausted all rights of appeal, or has failed to prosecute an appeal, leaving standing an adverse decision.
