Community‐scale definition

Community‐scale for purposes of Topic Area 2, means serving a “substantial” number of the total buildings within a community, or a “substantial” portion of the community’s energy load, or an entire tribal community. For purposes of this FOA, “substantial” means of “ample or considerable amount”.
