Communications System definition

Communications System means a system or business providing voice, data or video transport, connection or monitoring services, through any means or medium, and the provision of marketing, management, technical and financial (including call rating) or other services to companies providing such transport, connection or monitoring services or constructing, creating, developing or marketing communications-related network equipment, software and other devices for use in the business described above.
Communications System means the supervisory, control, and data acquisition system for the Project Substation equipment (including all breakers, switches, transformers, relays, and meters) and permanent meteorological towers; all fiber optic cabling and supporting devices within the Collection System Circuits; and the Turbine SCADA System.
Communications System means a combination of links or networks that serve a general function such as a system made up of command, tactical, logistical, and administrative networks supporting the operations of an individual PSAP.

Communications System. (herein also referred to as “System”): the facility, which is the subject of this franchise, consisting of antennae, wire, coaxial cable, amplifiers, towers, microwave links, wave guide, optical fibers, optical transmitters and receivers, satellite receive/transmit antennae, and/or other equipment designed and constructed for the purpose of producing, receiving, amplifying, storing, processing, or distributing analog and/or digital audio, video, or other forms of electronic, electromechanical, optical, or electrical signals.
Communications System or “System” means the cables, wires, lines, optic fiber, and any associated converters, equipment, or other facilities designed, constructed or occupied by Grantee or others for the purpose of producing, receiving, amplifying or distributing communications service to or from locations within the City.
