Collection Line means the pipes owned and/or operated by Riviera and used to collect wastewater from laterals and deliver it to interceptor lines or wastewater treatment facilities.
The Customer has sole responsibility for construction, operation and maintenance of such lines and appurtenances, including the connection to a Collection Line, Distribution Line, or Main.
Each Customer shall have the affirmative duty to forthwith remedy any break or defect in a Service, Collection Line, or Distribution Line, or connection to a Collection Line, Distribution Line, or Main for which he is responsible which causes or may cause discharge of treated water into the ground or infiltration of ground water into the water or sewer systems.
