Codeshare definition

Codeshare means an arrangement whereby a flight that bears our Airline Designator Code (“VS”) is operated by another carrier on our behalf.
Codeshare means an arrangement between us and other service providers including other Carriers in which we market and sell seats on each other's services using our own Airline Designator Codes. You may therefore have a Ticket with our Airline Designator Code, but another Carrier will operate one or more of the services on your Ticket.
Codeshare or ‘Code-share’- means a flight marketed under only one U.S. carrier’s (the reporting carrier’s) designator code and operated by another carrier that is a certificated or commuter air carrier.

  • Codeshare is an agreement which allows use of a designated airline code of an airline which does not operate the flight in a route or route segment serviced by other airline(s).

More Definitions of Codeshare

Codeshare means an arrangement between two airlines, where one airline (Marketing Carrier) sells transportation services under its own code and license on a flight operated by the other airline (Operating Carrier), provided that “Codeshare” shall not include flights for which PACL is the marketing carrier and PAI is the operating carrier for the purposes of these terms and conditions.
