Cocktail lounge definition

Cocktail lounge means that portion of an establishment holding a current and valid Class H license issued by the State of Washington Liquor Control Board which is specifically set aside for the sale and consumption of liquor by the glass and separated by a divider from that portion of the establishment principally serving meals on a regular basis to the public.
Cocktail lounge means a use providing preparation and retail sale of alcoholic beverages, on a licensed "on-sale" basis, for consumption on the premises, including taverns, bars and similar establishments where food service is subordinate or accessory to the sale of alcoholic beverages. Cocktail lounge does not include a full service alcohol or beer and wine bar that is established and operated as an accessory use within a full-service restaurant, provided that the bar is integrated within and open to the main dining area, and operating during the same hours as the primary food service use.
Cocktail lounge means that portion of a licensed premises used primarily for the preparation, sale and service of liquor. Persons under twenty-one years of age are not permitted to enter a cocktail lounge except as otherwise provided under this title.
