Club Match definition

Club Match means a game of football played which is arranged by and sanctioned by or under the control of an Australian Rules Football League and/or Association as the members deem from time to time, in which a team of the Club shall be a participant and for which such match a member shall be selected by the Club to participate in.

Examples of Club Match in a sentence

  • Subject to clause 5.2.1, if during your Membership Period a Club Match is not held at the Stadium during a Season (and this is not due to a Force Majeure Event), you will be entitled to claim a refund of 1/10 of your Membership Fee payable for that Season (or a credit against future Membership Fee payments) for every Club Match less than 5.

  • In these circumstances, no reduction to your Membership Fee will apply and, in respect of the relevant Season only, The Football League Championship Play-Off Final shall be deemed to be a Club Match for the purposes of clauses 5.2.2 and 5.2.3 below.
