Clerk of the municipality definition

Clerk of the municipality means the clerk of a municipality or the officer given the duties customarily imposed on the clerk.
Clerk of the municipality means the clerk of the town or village duly authorized to issue licenses pursuant to the Bingo Licensing Law. In the case of a city, it shall mean the clerk of the particular department of the city government duly authorized to issue licenses pursuant to the Bingo Licensing Law.
