Clerical officer definition
Clerical officer means the Clerk of the House of Representatives or the Secretary of the Senate.
Clerical officer means an employee who is engaged in general clerical or office duties, such as typing, filing, basic data entry and calculating functions. An employee at this level will have some experience (3+ years) in administration and who is able to supervise, train and co-ordinate the work of other lower level permanent and casual employees engaged in a clerical and administrative tasks.
