Claims Appeal Committee definition

Claims Appeal Committee means a committee appointed by the Bank to review and process appeals of benefit claim denials under Article 6.
Claims Appeal Committee means a committee appointed by the plan administrator, which shall consist of at least three members and shall have only such duties as are expressly provided under the terms of the Plan. The plan administrator shall carry out all other administrative responsibilities. Members of the Claims Appeal Committee who are employees may participate in the benefits under the Plan (provided they meet all applicable requirements). Examples of Claims Appeal Committee in a sentence

  • Within 60 days after receipt of the notice of denial described above, the claimant may request a review of such denial by filing a notice of appeal in writing with the Benefit Claims Appeal Committee (the “Benefits Appeal Committee”).

  • Architectural Review Committee or “ARC” shall mean the architectural review committee established by the Organization to review plans submitted to the Organization for architectural review.

  • Investigation Committee means the Investigation Committee appointed by the Board under Regulation 5 of these Regulations;

  • Hearing Committee means the committee appointed pursuant to this Plan to hear a request for an evidentiary hearing that has been properly filed and pursued by a practitioner.

  • Appeals Tribunal or “AT” means the Body responsible for hearing and determining appeals set out in section 9;

  • Supervisory Committee means the Comisión Fiscalizadora of the Company.

  • Plan Administrator means the plan administrator described in Article 8.

  • Selection Committee means a committee of individual(s) who evaluate and rank proposals; conduct negotiations; and makes a contract award recommendation to the District and its respective Committees.

  • Statutory Committee means any official committee of unsecured creditors in any of the Chapter 11 Cases pursuant to Section 1102 of the Bankruptcy Code.

  • Advisory Committee means the Employer's Advisory Committee as from time to time constituted.

  • Policy Committee means the body created by this Agreement to approve the budget for the Consortium, to develop cooperative approaches regarding countywide GIS and the concerns of each party, and to perform such other functions as are set forth in this Agreement.
