CLAC Representatives represent the employees in all matters pertaining to this Agreement.
This is achieved by industry development among for and with owners and purchasers of construction services, by advocating at municipal and provincial government, by representing open shop union principles at industry conferences and events, and by advising the union leaders, including staff and stewards of opportunities and means to promote the CLAC model.
CLAC Representatives are representatives of the employees in all matters pertaining to this Agreement, particularly for the purpose of processing grievances, negotiating amendments to and renewals of this Agreement and enforcing the employees' collective bargaining rights as well as any other rights under this Agreement and under the law.
