research organisation means a legal entity established as a non-profit organisation which carries out research or technological development as one of its main objectives;
international organisation means an organisation and its subordinate bodies governed by public international law, or any other body which is set up by, or on the basis of, an agreement between two or more countries.
Organisation means a legal body which exists separately and distinctly from its members and includes companies, building societies, community benefit societies, local authorities and so on and also for the purposes of these Rules includes unincorporated organisations such as social clubs, branches of political parties or trade unions and other voluntary bodies.
voluntary organisation means a body, other than a public or local authority, the activities of which are carried on otherwise than for profit;
Law Society means the Law Society of Ireland;
recognised organisation means an organisation recognised in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 391/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council (1);
Union harmonisation legislation means any Union legislation harmonising the conditions for the marketing of products;
Civil union means a civil union established pursuant to Act 91 of the 2000 Vermont Legislative Session, entitled “Act Relating to Civil Unions”.
Motorcycling Organisation means and includes MA, and the MA members (including the SCBs and affiliated clubs) and where the context so permits, their respective directors, officers, members, servants or agents.
Civil War means an internecine war, or a war carried on between or among opposing citizens of the same country or nations.
civil servant means a person who is a member of a civil service of the Province, or who holds a civil post in connection with the affairs of the Province, but does not include-
friendly society means corporation that is a friendly society within the meaning of section 16C of the Life Insurance Act 1995 of the Commonwealth.
Organ procurement organization means a person designated by the Secretary of the United States Department of Health and Human Services as an organ procurement organization.
international organization shall have the meanings set forth in Section 7701 of the Code or successor provisions.
technical and organisational security measures means those measures aimed at protecting personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access, in particular where the processing involves the transmission of data over a network, and against all other unlawful forms of processing.
Commercial vessel means any vessel not owned and operated by the United States military or the United States Coast Guard.
Civil engineer means a professional engineer registered in the State of California to practice in the field of civil works.
statutory undertaker means any person falling within section 127(8), 128(5) or 129(2) of the 2008 Act;
Society Act means the Society Act of British Columbia from time to time in force and all amendments to it;
Municipal Political Party Committee means a committee organized pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19:5-2.
Society means a society established under the Societies Registration Act of 1860 (21 of 1860) or any other society established under any State or Central law for the time being in force.
Procurement organization means an eye bank, organ procurement organization, or tissue bank.
Occupational Health and Safety Act means the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993 (Act No 85 of 1993);
the Society means the Society of Actuaries in Ireland
Disaster Management Act means the Disaster Management Act, 2002 (Act No.57 of 2002)
Organisers means the organization named as the Organiser(s) of the Exhibition on the Application Form.
