Where a dispute between the Parties relates to a Payment Claim or Payment Response to which the CIPAA applies, either Party shall be entitled, at any time, to make an adjudication application in accordance with the CIPAA, in which case the provisions of the CIPAA shall apply to the dispute.
HIPAA means the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, as amended.
Service Provider Number Portability (SPNP) is synonymous with Permanent Number Portability “PNP”.
Privacy Regulations means the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 as amended in 2004, 2011, 2015 and 2016 and as may be further amended from time to time;
Air Standards Manager means the Manager, Human Toxicology and Air Standards Section, Standards Development Branch, or any other person who represents and carries out the duties of the Manager, Human Toxicology and Air Standards Section, Standards Development Branch, as those duties relate to the conditions of this Certificate.
Medicare Levy Surcharge means an extra charge payable by high income earners beyond the standard Medicare Levy if they do not have qualifying private hospital insurance coverage. This charge is assessed as part of an individual or family’s annual tax return.
