China Sansheng means China Sansheng Medical Limited, a company incorporated under the laws of Hong Kong, with company registration number 1387230.
China means the People’s Republic of China, excluding, for purposes of this Agreement, Hong Kong, the Macau Special Administrative Region of the PRC and Taiwan.
CJA means the Courts of Justice Act, RSO 1990, c C-43, as amended;
CJI means criminal justice information collected by criminal justice agencies needed for the performance of their authorized functions, including, without limitation, all information defined as criminal justice information by the U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Criminal Justice Information Services Security Policy, as amended and all Criminal Justice Records as defined under §24-72-302, C.R.S.
Asia means Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand.
WFOE has the meaning set forth in the Preamble of this Agreement.
HK$ Hong Kong dollars, the lawful currency of Hong Kong;
HKFE means the Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited.
PRC means the People’s Republic of China, but solely for the purposes of this Agreement, excluding Hong Kong, the Macau Special Administrative Region and the islands of Taiwan.
Mainland China means the People's Republic of China but excluding Hong Kong and Macau;
IRDAI means the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India.
Gang means a group that: (a) Consists of three or more
SAI means Statement of Additional Information.
LHSIA means the Local Health System Integration Act, 2006, and the regulations made under it, as it and they may be amended from time to time;
BVI means the British Virgin Islands.
Marihuana means that term as defined in section 7106 of the public health code, 1978 PA 368, MCL 333.7106.
SI means the abbreviation for the International System of Units.
FIU means the Financial Intelligence Unit of Trinidad and Tobago established under section 3 of the Financial Intelligence Unit of Trinidad and Tobago Act;
LTD means NMC Healthcare Limited (in administration);
PEI means Petroleum Equipment Institute.
SADC means the Southern African Development Community;
EUMA means the “SAP Delivered Support Agreement” which sets out the terms and conditions under which SAP provides support to End Users and which will be provided by SAP on a deal by deal basis.
Tabarru’ means donation for the purpose of solidarity and cooperation among the Takaful Participants and to be used to help all Takaful Participants in times of misfortune. In the context of the Company, Tabarru’ will be allocated into the Participants’ Risk Fund.
Bangladesh Bank means the bank established under Article 3 of the Bangladesh Bank Order, 1972 (P.O. No. 127 of 1972) for the purpose of carrying on the business of the central banking and also includes its successors;
TELRIC means Total Element Long-Run Incremental Cost.
HKMA means the Hong Kong Monetary Authority;
Hong Kong” the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the PRC;
