Child protection team definition

Child protection team means a team consisting of:
Child protection team means a multidisciplinary team consisting, where possible, of a physician, a representative of the Juvenile Court, a representative of the Tribal law enforcement agency, a representative of a non-tribal law enforcement agency, a representative of the Tribal Child and Family Services or Bureau of Indian Affairs Social Services Department, a representative of the state social services department, an attorney, a representative of the local school district, and one or more representative of the lay community. Each agency may have more than one participating member on the team; except that, in voting on procedural or policy matters, each agency shall have only one vote.
