Charities Act 2011 means the Charities Act 2011 as amended or re-enacted from time to time (http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2011/25/contents)

  • Section 118 of the Charities Act 2011 apply for the purposes of interpreting the terms used in this constitution.

  • A charity trustee may benefit from trustee indemnity insurance cover purchased at the CIO’s expense in accordance with, and subject to the conditions in, section 189 of the Charities Act 2011.

  • Further, this Article does not authorise a Trustee to benefit from any indemnity arrangement that would be rendered void by any provision of the Companies Act 2006, the Charities Act 2011 or any other provision of law.

  • The Charities Act 2011 sets out the grounds on which a person can be disqualified from acting as a trustee or senior manager.

  • Securities Act of 1933 means the United States Securities Act of 1933, as from time to time amended.

  • U.S. Securities Act means the United States Securities Act of 1933, as amended;

  • Labour Relations Act means the Labour Relations Act, 1995 (Act No. 66 of 1995);

  • Corrupt practices means the offering, giving, receiving or soliciting of anything of value to influence the action of a Government official in procurement process or in contract execution: and

  • 1933 Securities Act means the Securities Act of 1933 of the United States, as amended, and the rules and regulations made thereunder, as now in effect or as the same may from time to time be amended, re-enacted or replaced.

  • The "Clean Air Act means those provisions contained in 42 U.S.C. §§ 7401 to 7671q, and regulations promulgated thereunder.

  • Federal Clean Air Act means Chapter 85 (§ 7401 et seq.) of Title 42 of the United States Code.

  • Central Bank UCITS Regulations means the Central Bank (Supervision and Enforcement)

  • FOI Act means the Freedom of Information Xxx 0000 and any subordinate legislation made under this Act from time to time together with any guidance and/or codes of practice issued by the Information Commissioner in relation to such legislation;

  • the 1998 Act (“Deddf 1998”) means the Teaching and Higher Education Act 1998;

  • ACNC Act means the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission Act 2012 (Cth).

  • Society Act means the Society Act of British Columbia from time to time in force and all amendments to it;

  • S.A.F.E. Act means the secure and fair enforcement for mortgage licensing act of 2008, Title V of the housing and economic recovery act of 2008 ("HERA"), P.L. 110-289, effective July 30, 2008.

  • UCITS Regulations means the European Communities Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities) Regulations, 2011 (S.I. No. 352 of 2011) (as amended consolidated or substituted from time to time) and any regulations or notices issued by the Central Bank pursuant thereto for the time being in force.

  • Business Corporations Act means the Business Corporations Act (British Columbia) from time to time in force and all amendments thereto and includes all regulations and amendments thereto made pursuant to that Act;

  • the 1988 Act means the Local Government Finance Act 1988.

  • corrupt practice means the offering, giving, receiving, or soliciting of anything of value to influence the action of a public official in the procurement process or in contract execution.

  • Fair Labor Standards Act means the Fair Labor Standards Act, 29 U.S.C. §201 et seq.
