Change in the Work definition

Change in the Work means an addition to, deletion from or other modification of the Work consistent with the scope and intent of the Contract.
Change in the Work means a change to the Work as provided in Article 8.
Change in the Work means the deletion, extension, increase, decrease or alteration of lines, grades, dimensions, quantities, methods, drawings, changes in the character of the work to be done or materials of the Work or part thereof, within the intended scope of the Contract.

Examples of Change in the Work in a sentence

  • Identification of related Minor Change in the Work, Construction Change Directive, and Proposal Request, as appropriate.

  • The amounts stated in the Change Order for the cost and time to perform the Change in the Work shall be binding on the parties.

  • The Contractor is required to submit a complete proposal for the total cost and additional time, if any, necessary to perform the proposed Change in the Work.

  • The amounts stated in the Change Order for the cost and time to perform the Change in the Work shall be binding upon the parties.

More Definitions of Change in the Work

Change in the Work means a change in the Specifications, Plans, Progress Schedule, and other requirements for the Work which is authorized under the Contract Documents.
Change in the Work has the meaning set forth in Section 1.7.
Change in the Work means additions, deletions, extensions, increases, decreases or other revisions to the Work within the general scope of the Contract;
Change in the Work or “Change Order” means a written instrument issued after the execution of this Agreement signed by the Village and Company stating a revision in the Design/Build Work and a related adjustment in the fixed Design/Build Price and/or Contract Time, if any.
Change in the Work. A variation, requested and agreed in accordance with Article 8, in the design, quality or quantity of the Work specified or required in Exhibit A and including without limitation:
Change in the Work means a change in the Contractor’s Work, or a change in the Contract Documents, including, but not limited to, an increase or decrease in the scope of the Work.
Change in the Work means variations, modifications, additions, reductions, deletions or changes to the Work from that indicated in the Contract Documents as constituted from time to time which are not Material Changes in the Work.
