Chairperson of the meeting definition

Chairperson of the meeting means the Chairperson or any other Board member or member elected to be the Chairperson of a general meeting of the Company in accordance with Article 26(a);
Chairperson of the meeting means the person appointed by the Supervisor to be the Chairperson of the Meeting (or a replacement Chairperson appointed in accordance with the Trust Deed)
Chairperson of the meeting means a Director or Member elected as a chairperson of the meeting other than the C Class Director or C Class Member appointed as Chairperson and includes Deputy Chairperson;

  • If votes are divided equally on a question, the Chairperson of the meeting has a second or casting vote.

  • Any such objection made in due time shall be referred to the Chairperson of the meeting, whose decision shall be final and conclusive.

Related to Chairperson of the meeting

  • Chairperson means the Chairperson of the Board;

  • Scheme Meeting means the meeting or meetings of the INM Shareholders or, if applicable, any class or classes of INM Shareholders (including as may be directed by the High Court pursuant to Section 450(5) of the Act) (and any adjournment of any such meeting or meetings) convened by (i) resolution of the INM Board or (ii) order of the High Court, in either case pursuant to Section 450 of the Act, to consider and vote on the Scheme Meeting Resolution;

  • Committee Meeting means a meeting of the Committee.

  • meeting of shareholders means such annual shareholders meeting or special shareholders meeting, whether general or not, at which one or more persons are nominated for election to the board by a Nominating Shareholder;

  • Vice-Chairperson means the Vice-Chairperson of the Board.

  • Court Meeting means the meeting(s) of the Scheme Shareholders to be convened by order of the Court pursuant to section 896 of the Companies Act, notice of which will be set out in the Scheme Document, for the purpose of approving the Scheme, including any adjournment thereof;

  • Chairman of the Board means the person who at the time shall be Chairman of the Board of Directors.

  • Open meeting or "public meeting" means a meeting at which the public may be present.

  • Deputy Chairperson means the deputy chairperson from time to time of the Trust if one is appointed in accordance of rule 4 of the Third Schedule;

  • Scoping meeting means a meeting between representatives of the applicant and EDC conducted for the purpose of discussing interconnection issues and exchanging relevant information.

  • special meeting in lieu of an annual meeting means a special meeting called by Directors for the purpose of electing Directors in the event that an annual meeting is not held on or before such date as may be required by the NYSE Amex, New York Stock Exchange or such other exchange or trading system on which shares are principally traded, if applicable.

  • Public meeting means a meeting that is required to be open to the public

  • physical meeting means a general meeting held and conducted by physical attendance and participation by shareholders and/or proxies at the Principal Meeting Place and/or where applicable, one or more Meeting Locations;

  • Members meeting means an annual members meeting or special meeting of members.

  • Vote ’ means one of the main segments into which a budget of a municipality is divided for the appropriation of funds for the different departments or functional areas of the municipality; and which specifies the total amount that is appropriated for the purposes of the department or functional area concerned.

  • Ordinary meeting means a meeting held by determination of the Board (SER r.115(1)).

  • special meeting of shareholders means a meeting of any particular class or classes of shareholders and a meeting of all shareholders entitled to vote at any annual meeting of shareholders at which special business is to be transacted.

  • Presiding Member means the presiding member of a committee or the deputy presiding member, or a member of the committee when performing a function of the presiding member in accordance with the Act;

  • Majority Vote means a vote made by more than half of the Members who are present at a Meeting and who are entitled to vote and voting at that Meeting upon a resolution put to that Meeting.
