Cerumen management means the removal of cerumen from the external auditory canal by the utilization of methods and techniques performed in accordance with minimum standards and procedures established in the audiological profession.
Cerumen management as used in this section, shall mean the removal of wax like secretions from the cartilaginous portion of the external ear in otherwise healthy ears.
