Certificate Custodian definition

Certificate Custodian. Initially, the Certificate Administrator; thereafter, any other Certificate Custodian acceptable to the Depository and selected by the Certificate Administrator.

Subject to the restrictions on transfer set forth in Section 5.02 and Applicable Procedures, a Beneficial Owner of a Private Global Certificate may request that the Depositor, or an agent thereof, cause the Depository (or any Agent Member) to notify the Certificate Registrar and the Certificate Custodian in writing of a request for transfer or exchange of such beneficial interest for an Individual Certificate or Certificates.

Absent such cancellation and notwithstanding any other provision of these Conditions, all Certificates held by or on behalf of the Issuer, shall be deposited with the Certificate Custodian and shall carry the same rights as Custodian Certificates.
