CB2 definition

CB2 means the convertible bonds in the aggregate principal amount of US$7,000,000 due in 2021 of which the Company denies its validity. Please refer to the Company's announcement dated 12 April 2019 for details;
CB2. The term “CB2” shall apply to a full-scholarship work study dancer who is cast in corps roles only. (1) For NUTCRACKER and one other full length ballet, Company may utilize up to twelve (12) CB2s. Otherwise, the ratio of CB2s will be as described in #2 below. (a) EMPLOYER may utilize additional students only after engaging the number of Guaranteed Employment Dancers specified above and CB2s. (b) CB2s shall not be cast over Company Dancers. (c) CB2s shall rehearse and perform with other ARTISTS in accordance with company schedule, and may also take classes, do outside engagements or any other activities that the EMPLOYER may require them to do. (2) No CB2 shall be allowed to fill in for a Company Dancer during a rehearsal except as follows. (a) No CB2 may stand in for a Principal or Soloist role. (b) For New Works only, where no other cast member is available, a CB2 can stand in for a work through rehearsal when working on the choreographic process. At the end of that rehearsal, the CB2 can participate in a run through of that section only. (3) Employer shall pay CB2s an education stipend of a minimum $150.00 per week. This rate applies during all company guaranteed work weeks in a season and EMPLOYER shall provide shoes. CB2s do not pay AGMA dues or any other related AGMA fees. The EMPLOYER’s Artistic Staff will make best efforts to have a balanced CB2 company consisting of equal male-presenting and female-presenting ARTISTS, keeping the repertoire requirements in mind. (4) CB2s shall be engaged during a period not to exceed two full seasons. (5) EMPLOYER is granted an exception to the rules in this section to allow a CB2 to be cast in an Apprentice role (see rules for casting Apprentices in 38 (a)(4)) in any Production including New Works with no additional compensation due. This shall be referred to as a “bump-up” and each CB2 is allowed this bump-up one time per season. Should the said CB2 receive a bump-up a 2nd time within their season, EMPLOYER must raise said CB2 to the Apprentice rank (following all casting rules for that rank) from that point to the end of the season.
