Category buyer definition
Category buyer means in relation to any individual Supplier, an employee (or employees) within a Retailer’s Buying Team, who manages the Primary Category buyer (or Primary Category buyers) for that Supplier (or is otherwise at a higher level than the Primary Category buyer within the management structure of the Retailer) “Shrinkage” means losses that occur after goods are delivered to a Retailer’s premises and arise due to theft, damage, internal accounting error, internal loss or any other internal aspect of the retailer’s chain.
