Cash Advance definition

Cash Advance means the amount requested by you and advanced to you by any method approved by us according to the terms of this Agreement in cash or cash equivalent items (including, but not limited to, money orders, travelers checks, lottery tickets, casino chips, vouchers redeemable for cash, or racetrack xxxxxx).
Cash Advance means an advance or payment made in any currency or by travellers’ cheques, notes or other forms representing an amount of any currency by any Merchant, bank or other financial institution and shall include any amount paid by DBS for the credit of the Cardmember’s account(s) with any person which had issued to the Cardmember any credit or charge card(s).
Cash Advance means a disbursement of funds in any currency from any Account (whether or not in the form of cash) made or obtained through or in connection with any Citibank ATM/Debit Card other than any Cash Withdrawal.

Examples of Cash Advance in a sentence

  • You agree we may change your Credit Limit (which will automatically also change your Cash Advance Limit) or cancel the Account if you exceed the Credit Limit or the Cash Advance Limit.

  • You agree not to use or permit others to use the Card, information from the Card, or a Credit Device if such use would cause either (i) the balance of the Account to exceed the Credit Limit we set from time to time or (ii) the balance of the outstanding Cash Advances to exceed the Cash Advance Limit applicable to such Credit Limit.

  • We are not obligated to allow any Purchase, Cash Advance or Balance Transfer which will exceed your Credit Limit or Cash Advance Limit, and if we do, we are not obligated to do so at a later time.

  • We may, at our option, extend credit under the Account which exceeds the Credit Limit or the Cash Advance Limit.

  • If Special Checks are issued from time to time for use with your Account, you may obtain what is deemed to be a Cash Advance under the Account by writing a check.


More Definitions of Cash Advance

Cash Advance means the withdrawal of cash in any currency through a range of methods including Express Cash and any other cash products as agreed separately with us;

Cash Advance means a loan in cash or cash equivalents, including, but not limited to, wire transfers, travelers’ checks, money orders and foreign currency.
Cash Advance means an advance of money from us that is charged to your Account (for example, a cash advance from an ATM or in-branch) or a Quasi-Cash Transaction. We also treat transfers of funds from your Account, bill payments made on your Account at an HSBC branch or through HSBC online or telephone banking, and Cheques as Cash Advances.
