Card definition

Card means credit, debit, smart or other charge or pre-paid cards branded as follows: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Visa Debit, Solo, Maestro (subject to the Codes of Practice).
Card means any card or other account access device we issue for the purpose of accessing your account.
Card means the Visa credit card and any duplicates, renewals, or substitutions the Credit Union issues to you; "account" means your Visa credit card line-of-credit account with the Credit Union; and "Credit Union" means the Credit Union whose name appears on this Agreement or anyone to whom the Credit Union transfers this Agreement.

  • The U.S. Loan Parties are in compliance in all material respects with each such Credit Card Agreement.

  • All such Credit Card Agreements are in full force and effect, currently binding upon each U.S. Loan Party that is a party thereto and, to the knowledge of the U.S. Loan Parties, binding upon other parties thereto in accordance with their terms.

More Definitions of Card

Card means the VISA and/or Mastercard credit card(s) issued to you by us, and any future credit card(s) issued to you in connection with the Account. If you applied for more than one type of Card, this Agreement is a separate Agreement for each Card.
Card means each Mastercard® debit Card, whether Virtual or Physical, issued by the Card Issuer to the Accountholder(s) which allows the Accountholder(s) to carry out Point of Sale, online and telephone Transactions, as well as withdraw money from an ATM. Mastercard is a registered trademark and the circles design is a trademark of Mastercard International Incorporated. The Card is a “payment instrument” for the purposes of the European Union (Payment Services) Regulations 2018.
Card means (i) a valid card in the form issued under license from Visa U.S.A., Inc., Visa International, Inc., or MasterCard International, Inc. (“Bank Card” or “Bankcard”) or (ii) any other valid card accepted by Merchant by agreement with Bank, such as those issued by, or under license of, Discover Financial Services, Inc. or (iii) any valid card issued under license of a regional or national Debit Network.
Card means any card or other device that we issue to access the Account. A charge is any amount added to the Account, such as purchases, cash advances, balance transfers, fees and interest charges. A purchase is a charge for goods or services or a person-to-person transaction. A person-to-person transaction is a charge for funds sent to another person. A cash advance is a charge to get cash or cash equivalents, including travelers cheques, gift cheques, foreign currency, money orders, casino gaming chips, race track ▇▇▇▇▇▇, and similar offline and online betting transactions. A balance transfer is a charge to pay an amount you owe on another credit card account. To pay by a certain date means to send your payment so that we receive it and credit it to your Account by that date (see About your payments in Part 2). Additional Cardmembers At your request, we may issue cards to Additional You are responsible for all use of the Account by Additional Cardmembers and anyone they allow to use the Account. You must pay for all charges they make. You must share this agreement with all Additional Cardmembers. You must tell Additional Cardmembers that: ● we may obtain, provide and use information about them. ● their use of the Account is subject to this Agreement. You authorize us to give Additional Cardmembers information about the Account and to discuss it with them. If you want to cancel an Additional Cardmember's right to use your Account (and cancel their card) you must tell us. We may refer to Additional Card(s) and Additional Cardmember(s) as Employee Card(s) and Employee Cardmember(s). All terms and conditions that apply to Additional Cards also apply to Employee Cards. If an Annual Membership fee applies for an Additional Card, please refer to the refund policy disclosed in the Closing your Account sub-section of your Cardmember Agreement. If a single Annual Membership fee applies for a group of Additional Cards on your Account, this policy will apply when you cancel the Additional Card on which the fee was assessed. If an Annual Membership fee applies to Additional Cards on your Account, it is shown on page 2 of Part 1 of the Cardmember Agreement.
Card means any Card or other Account access device issued to a Cardmember (or a Supplementary Cardmember) for the purpose of accessing the Account.
Card means the Visa® credit card and any other access devices, duplicates, renewals, or substitutions, including convenience checks, the Credit Union issues to You. "Account" means the line of credit established by this Agreement and includes Your Card.

Upholding your AgreementYou agree to the terms of this Agreement, and promise to do everything required of you. If you sign or submit an application or solicitation to obtain credit from us, you’ll be legally bound by this Agreement. You’re also legally bound if you sign a charge slip, or permit someone else to use the credit provided. • You agree that the credit extended under your Account will be used only for personal, family or household purposes and not for business or commercial purpose. • If the Account is a joint Account, you and the joint Account holder will be bound by this Agreement. Each of you will be jointly and individually responsible for repaying all amounts due. If more than one person is responsible for this Account, we will only provide billing statements and communications to one of you. • Any authorized user of your Account will be bound by the terms of this Agreement. One additional Card may be issued with the individual name of an authorized user embossed on the Card. If you want to revoke the use of your Account by an authorized user, either write us at the address, or call us at the phone number, shown on your Statement. • You agree to pay for all transactions made on your Account by an authorized user, whether or not such transactions were authorized by you or made for your benefit. Card signature (as applicable) For your own protection, please sign your Card before using it. Keep in mind that your signature on the Card isn’t a prerequisite to your obligation to pay amounts incurred on your Account. Using your Account • Your Account may be used to make purchases from anywhere Visa is accepted. • We reserve the right to not honor transactions related to, including, but not limited to, gambling, ATM usage at casinos, and illegal activities. • You may obtain a loan from us under your Account by using your Card or a convenience check as follows: by purchasing goods or services with your Card or your Account number; by obtaining a cash advance from a financial institution, by use of an automated teller machine (ATM); by using a convenience check; or, by incurring charges authorized by this Agreement. • From time to time, in our sole discretion, we may send you convenience checks for use in borrowing under this Agreement.
