Captive breeding means carrying out ex situ conservation of endangered wild fauna and producing the first generation of such species by breeding process for protection of genes of such species or carrying out ex situ conservation of endangered wild flora and producing seeds or planting, rearing seedlings of such species for protection of genes of such species.
