Capital Payment definition

Capital Payment means a Monthly Payment made by a Borrower under a Mortgage Loan (other than a Flexible Mortgage Loan) that is greater by (GBP)200 or more than the amount due for that month, and in respect of which the Borrower has notified the Seller that such overpayment is intended to reduce the Capital Balance of the related Mortgage Loan;

Examples of Capital Payment in a sentence

  • The Mortgages Trustee shall not distribute to the Beneficiaries any Overpayment in respect of any Non-Flexible Mortgage Loan which does not constitute a Capital Payment until the first Distribution Date following 31st December of the year in which such Overpayment is received, save to the extent that any such Overpayment by a Borrower is applied in reduction of an Underpayment by such Borrower in respect of such Mortgage Loan prior to such date.
