Candidate Member definition

Candidate Member means any planner who meets the Institute’s eligibility criteria for embarking on the RPP certification process. A Candidate Member is entitled to vote on matters not related to Registration and Discipline at Members’ meetings and may serve on the Council. The Council may establish policy as to any other rights and obligations for Candidate Members. A Candidate Member must become a Registered Professional Planner within seven (7) years. Notwithstanding this, the Registration Committee may extend this period in extenuating circumstances.
Candidate Member means an individual who is listed on the Register of Candidate Members and who is in the process of meeting the criteria to become a Registered Professional Planner as defined in the Regulation;
Candidate Member means, where the Candidate is a consortium of organisations, each of the organisations within the consortium submitting a PQQ, comprising collectively the Key Organisations, the Designated Organisations and the FM Service Provider3;

Examples of Candidate Member in a sentence

  • At the end of the six month candidate membership, a Candidate Member wishing to become a member of the Cooperative will state their desire to become a Member at a membership meeting, and obtain the approval of two thirds of the Members to join their ranks.

  • The person interested in becoming a member of the Cooperative will be presented by one of the Members as a "Candidate Member" and with majority approval will begin a period of candidate membership lasting six months, during which the Candidate Member can participate in all activities of the Cooperative except voting on Cooperative decisions as defined by this agreement.

  • After a minimum of one year working with our Cooperative as an Intern, the Intern may put themselves forward as a Candidate Member at a membership meeting, without seeking sponsorship from a current Member, at which point the Members will vote on their request and with a majority vote the Intern will become a Candidate Member and their six months as a Candidate Member will begin as described in the section on adding members.

  • Having achieved a two thirds approval to join the Cooperative, the Candidate Member must agree to contribute either $5000.00 or 100 hours of labor to the Cooperative, upon completion of which this agreement will be modified to add their name to the list of Members and they will be a Member in full standing as defined in this agreement.

  • If the number of Candidate Members is equal to or less than the number of vacancies, each Candidate Member shall appoint a Member Director and the Manager shall appoint non-Member Directors to fill any remaining vacancies.


More Definitions of Candidate Member

Candidate Member means any individual satisfying the requirements for the class of Candidate Members in accordance with Section 7;
Candidate Member means any person who resides in Nova Scotia, is a member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and does not hold a Corporate Membership as “Member” with the Canadian Institute of Planners;
