Business Operating Income definition

Business Operating Income means, for calendar year 2013, operating income (or operating loss) (1) plus, to the extent included in the calculation of operating income for such period in accordance with U.S. GAAP, the sum of, (a) impairment charges, (b) charges related to the accelerated recognition of asset retirement obligations, (c) any losses from sales of assets or a business other than in the ordinary course of business, (d) expenses related to natural disasters such as hurricanes or earthquakes that significantly disrupt operations, (e) any non-recurring expenses associated with an acquisition or divestiture during the year that is integrated into the Business including the mark-up of inventory held by the acquired business at the date of acquisition, the write-off of in-process R&D and transaction related expenses, (f) professional fees and expenses related to any transaction that has been announced but has not closed as of the end of the calendar year and is still deemed to be probable such transaction will close and (g) all allocated functional and corporate expenses (2) minus any gains from sales of assets or a sub-segment of the Business other than in the ordinary course of business.

  • Net Operating Cash Flow means the net cash flow to the Partnership resulting from ownership and operation of the Partnership Property, plus any other items of income received in cash by the Partnership less (i) all debts and expenses paid in the operation of the Partnership, (ii) any reserves which the General Partners deem reasonably necessary for the operation of the Partnership or for the satisfaction of obligations of the Partnership pursuant to Section 8.6, and (iii) all proceeds which are (A) received by the Partnership from the Transfer of Partnership Property, and (B) used to purchase or reserved, as determined by the General Partners in furtherance of their fiduciary duties hereunder and under the Act, for the purchase of other Partnership Property.

Gross Operating Revenues shall be reduced by credits or refunds to guests at such Hotel Property.

  • Operating Cash Flow means the Company’s or a business unit’s sum of Net Income plus depreciation and amortization less capital expenditures plus changes in working capital comprised of accounts receivable, inventories, other current assets, trade accounts payable, accrued expenses, product warranty, advance payments from customers and long-term accrued expenses, determined in accordance with generally acceptable accounting principles.

  • Operating Profits means, as applied to any Person for any period, the operating income of such Person for such period, as determined in accordance with GAAP.

  • Cash from Operations means the net cash realized by the Company from any source other than a Capital Transaction, after payment of all cash expenditures of the Company, including, but not limited to, all operating expenses including all fees payable to the Manager or Affiliates, all payments of principal and interest on indebtedness, expenses for repairs and maintenance, capital improvements and replacements, and such reserves and retentions as the Manager reasonably determines to be necessary and desirable in connection with Company operations with its then existing assets and any anticipated acquisitions.

  • Net Cash Flow means, with respect to the Property for any period, the amount obtained by subtracting Operating Expenses and Capital Expenditures for such period from Gross Income from Operations for such period.

  • Net Working Capital Target means $0.00.

  • Funds From Operations shall have the meaning determined from time to time by the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts to be the meaning most commonly used by its members.
