Business Improvement Area definition

Business Improvement Area means an area designated by the City as an improvement area under the Municipal Act, 2001;

Examples of Business Improvement Area in a sentence

  • This part does not prohibit the boundaries of a district created pursuant to this part to overlap with other assessment districts established pursuant to other provisions of law, including, but not limited to, the Parking and Business Improvement Area Law of 1989 (Part 6 (commencing with Section 36500)).

  • Every improvement area established pursuant to the Parking and Business Improvement Area Law of 1989 (Part 6 (commencing with Section 36500) of this division) is valid and effective and is unaffected by this part.

  • They can also apply to the City to become a Business Improvement Area (BIA).
