Bulldozer or Push Dozer Operator definition
Bulldozer or Push Dozer Operator means one who operates a large tractor with a concave steel blade or push block mounted in front of the chassis; regulates heights of blades or push blocks from the ground; may oil, grease or otherwise service and make necessary adjustments to equipment as needed; and may perform other related duties. (Note: The equipment is used to level, distribute and push earth. The work is subjected to strict inspection and must conform closely to specifications. The equipment may also be used as a pusher to load earth-carrying equipment. At times a ripper attachment is used for ripping the earth prior to loading the scraper.)
