Bulk Waste definition

Bulk Waste means large household items, including but not limited to:
Bulk Waste means materials including yard trash, white goods, and clean debris, as such terms are defined in §16-108 of the Code, as may be amended, generated from residential activities and those materials generally outlined in §16-19 of the Code as acceptable for bulk trash pickup.
Bulk Waste means those wastes that may require special handling and management including, but not limited to: all types of vegetative matter resulting from normal yard and landscaping maintenance that does not exceed six (6) feet in length, White Goods, Xxxxx Goods, furniture, equipment, and other similar items including materials resulting from minor home repairs. Bulk Waste does not include items herein defined as Garbage, Contractor-Generated Waste, Exempt Waste, or items such as televisions, mirrors, window glass, or containers with fluids, or waste containing refrigerants or other potentially harmful fluids or gases.

Examples of Bulk Waste in a sentence

  • Solid Waste, including Bulk Waste, shall not be stored in a manner that constitutes a Nuisance.

  • The special collection service fees shall be imposed for extra collections, unscheduled collections, collections for Bulk Waste, collection of infectious waste, and collections of dead animals as defined in this Chapter.

  • Each Person or entity requesting or needing the delivery or relocation of a Cart, Container, or Roll-off provided by the City, each Person or entity who cancels Cart, Container, or Roll-off service provided by the City, and each Person or entity who requests special services from the City such as the collection and disposal of Bulk Waste, infectious waste, dead animals, or an extra collection shall be assessed service charges and special collection fees as set by resolution of the City Council.

  • On-call collection of Bulk Waste upon notification and payment of applicable fees to the Department.Cart(s) and Bulk Waste shall be placed at the location for collection, as specified in Section 9.04.090, after 6:00 p.m. on the day preceding the designated collection day and prior to 5:00a.m. on the designated collection day.


More Definitions of Bulk Waste

Bulk Waste means Municipal Solid Waste composed of materials not easily containerized in a Cart such as, but not limited to, appliances, Brush, carpet, furniture, pallets and other large items. Bulk Waste shall exclude Animal Waste, dead animals, Construction or Demolition Waste, and Excluded Waste.
Bulk Waste means all large items of trash; see City ordinance, Title 7, Chapter 7.16.050.
Bulk Waste means any waste that requires additional management due to its bulk or weight and shall include, but is not limited to, household furniture, electronics, bicycles, and White Goods. Bulk Waste does not include any form of matter or debris resulting from tree removal, land clearing, or land development. "Bulk Waste Residential Collection Service" means the Bulk Waste collection services provided to persons occupying Dwelling Units within the designated Franchise Area, including Dwelling Units located in mobile home parks who receive Collection services at curbside. Construction and Demolition Debris is not included as Bulky Waste.
Bulk Waste means waste that by virtue of its mass, shape, size or quantity is inconvenient to remove by the routine door-to-door waste removal service provided by the Municipality or a service provider;
Bulk Waste means wooden and cardboard boxes, crates, appliances, furniture, machinery, automobile parts and all other nonvegetative matter, which by reason of size and/or shape are not readily containable. Bulk waste also includes tree trunks, branches or limbs, regardless of length, which are ten or more inches in diameter
Bulk Waste means white goods, furniture, and other waste material other than construction debris or hazardous waste with weights or volume greater that those allowed for containers or carts.
Bulk Waste. Bulk Waste shall mean any combination of Yard Waste, Special Waste and/or White Goods. Bulk Waste shall not include Solid Waste and Unacceptable Waste. “Bulk Waste Collection Services” – Bulk Waste Collection Services shall mean the Collection of loose (not bagged or bundled) Bulk Waste and delivery to Disposal Facility by Contractor.
