Bond Registrar definition

Bond Registrar means the bank or trust company appointed pursuant to Section 4 or in the Certificate of Award as the initial authenticating agent, bond registrar, transfer agent and paying agent for the Bonds under the Bond Registrar Agreement and until a successor Bond Registrar shall have become such pursuant to the provisions of the Bond Registrar Agreement and, thereafter, “Bond Registrar” shall mean the successor Bond Registrar.

Bond Registrar or "Registrar" shall mean the bank or trust company designated as such by Supplemental Indenture with respect to a Series of Bonds for the purpose of maintaining the registry of the Issuer reflecting the names, addresses, and other identifying information of Owners of Bonds of such Series.

Bond Registrar means the State Treasurer, and any successors and assigns.

Examples of Bond Registrar in a sentence

• The preceding provisions of this Section 2.05 notwithstanding, the Issuer shall not be required to make, and the Storm Recovery Bond Registrar need not register, transfers or exchanges of any Storm Recovery Bond that has been submitted within 15 days preceding the due date for any payment with respect to such Storm Recovery Bond until after such due date has occurred.

• None of the Issuer, the Storm Recovery Bond Registrar, the Paying Agent or the Indenture Trustee shall be liable for any delay in delivery of such instructions and may conclusively rely on, and shall be fully protected in relying on, such instructions.

• Any Paying Agent, Storm Recovery Bond Registrar, co-registrar or co-paying agent or agent appointed under Section 3.02 may do the same with like rights.

• Upon any resignation of any Storm Recovery Bond Registrar, the Issuer shall promptly appoint a successor or, if it elects not to make such an appointment, assume the duties of Storm Recovery Bond Registrar.

• Upon the issuance of any replacement Storm Recovery Bond under this Section 2.06, the Issuer and/or the Indenture Trustee may require the payment by the Holder of such Storm Recovery Bond of a sum sufficient to cover any tax or other governmental charge that may be imposed in relation thereto and any other reasonable expenses (including the fees and expenses of the Indenture Trustee and the Storm Recovery Bond Registrar) in connection therewith.
